Every season we look for professional theatre artists for our production team positions and teaching roles. If you have a passion for supporting the next generation of artists, we would love to hear from you! Please address letters of inquiry and resumes to
Costume, Lighting, and Set Designers, for our 2025 season. Drama Teachers for students in preschool and elementary grades.
You’ve successfully performed in a few shows (or maybe a bunch!) and you have found your people in the rehearsal hall! As you expand your theatre training, you may find that you are interested in getting a new perspective by working on the other side of the production table. At HMT, we offer opportunities for training in a variety of leadership roles in the theatre arts.
We have Production Assistants in both our theatre classrooms and our rehearsal studios/performances. These positions provide invaluable hours developing leadership and teaching skills, while also providing volunteer hours and increasing the PA’s understanding of the workings of a theatre career.
Our Paid Internships provide a stipend along with dedicated mentorship throughout the process. HMT internships blend personal responsibility with supportive supervision. As a result, positions on the production team and in the classroom help interns to develop skills which translate directly to a college application or professional resumé.
